they said they banished all the Bens to Malaysia in the 1980s. makes sense.
oliphaunt was huge. see the tiang next to it? it was as tall as klcc. you do the maths. and that was a baby oliphaunt in the picture. they can grow up to 500kms tall. seriously.

atie: technically, yes. you can kutip the poppies and sniff them (or bake them, or snort them, whatever it is you do with poppies) but morally you have the ob-lee-gay-shun to preserve the sanctity and beauty of the place. but to answer your question; yes, you could. you could even tapao some poppy plant to tanam in your home garden (was offered by the official gardener there, we declined because then you have to take your chances with the custom and immigration about transporting drugs. wouldn't want that)

i know this post doesnt depict that feeling i have for india very well but i am very much in love with india.
gov. job right now is bearable. only because my head honcho (honchette? it's a lady head honcho. honchorina?) is away and we are just currently floating around doing nothing until she could approve placement. no big difference from previous job, basically. just getting paid more.
