Company's Family day in Langkawi last weekend. Went on MAS and stayed 4 days at Berjaya Resort and Spa, which is a tremendous hotel. Never remembered Langkawi to be so lush and green. It basically rained the whole time we were there but we had fun with what little sunshine we had, all 300 staffs plus their families. But if you're single you can't bring anyone. Just you and your lonesome self among merry people with family frolicking in the sun..well, rain. Because they aren't happy if you're just lonely, they want you miserable and pitiful as well. Sure, rub it in. Rub it in.
View from the beach of the mountains. Gorgeous day for beach sports and games; before the sky let it rip and leaked and poured and all hell broke loose. Orange clad people are our people. I won 3rd at coconut dribbling. Which is much harder than it sounds and which I sucked royally at.
Spent most of my time playing with other people's kids. But only the cute ones. Above is baby Shuen, her mom is my company's accountant. We went around pinching Shuen's cheek saying "when you gonna approve my claim, wei?" Lord, she's a cutie wookie, isn't she? And I'm not half bad myself. Ahem
Also spent a lot of time hanging at my beachview-kampung style-uber cool-surrounded by huge trees chalet's balcony. Since it rained a lot, I managed to get a lot of reading done. A colleague took pictures of us hanging chilling out and this is the only one not featuring my cleavage.
Behold my bounty from Langkawi. Didn't buy one bottle of gamat or one scrap of kain batik. Just chocolates and heaps of them. This is RM200 worth of damage. Well worth it, I say. Daim, Bounty and Kisses are the only chocolate my family deem good enough to be eaten. Snobs.
Another so-adorable-its-stupid picture of Shuen. Just because I have a lot.
